2009 Gardena Valley JCI Carnival |

Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Institute presents their annual JCI Carnival on Saturday, June 27, noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday, June 28, noon to 9:00 p.m. DISKovery JCI will have our own booth in the carnival. It will be located on the second floor next to the JCI building. Class schedules will be handed out as well the display of our Wii program. Come and see all the fun as well. Food, Games, Indoor/Outdoor Entertainment & Demostrations, Hourly Raffles, Cultural Art Displays, Hands-On Activities, Nusery & Produce Sale, Crafts & Book Sale. Established in 1999, the DISKovery Center is a community technology center and a program of the Little Tokyo Service Center Community Development Corporation (LTSC CDC). We are located in the Far East Building, which is in the historic Little Tokyo district of downtown Los Angeles.
Our mission is to build community through digital opportunities. The DISKovery Center provides low-cost or free technology access to the community, offering computer and technology training, free computer public access for members, and an equipment lending program. The DISKovery Center strives to make our services accessible for all users. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to participate in DISKovery Center's services. |
